it's daddy's fault.

Daddy said that he had always been afraid of being a father - right from the verge of adulthood; right through that golden ring he wears. He feared the burden of owning a life not his own. He feared his own incapabilties, his unfatherly ignorance. National service had only taught him to be a man; There was no model Daddy to look up to; Surprise, surprise, unexpected?

But now - now I know for myself the real reason why his heart knew fear: It's hereditary.
