random musings: the tomorrow in the making

Probably by the next generation or two, minority groups would have dissolved into mainstream bloodlines. There would be more mixed children. People would start asking "what's your mix" instead of "what's your race". The inherent inter-racial social class would determine most combinations. The English language would further mutate, whilst minor languages slowly die out.

The Arts would almost be fully commercial.

The music produced then would come in fusion genres. Any songs in the unadulterated style would be considered "classic", or along those lines. Micheal Jackson's name would be remembered, though his music would go out of fashion. Frank Sinatra might be forgotten. Madonna would continue defining sex appeal for the elderly.

Our global financial problems would have cumulated one heck of a beast.

Foods would become less diverse and more synthetic. Macdonald's burgers would shrink another notch.

Fashion would continue spinning in cycles and politics would still be stupid.

There would be no more snow on snow-capped mountains or Antarctica to campaign for Global Warming. Singapore would start reclaiming land vertically.

Reader's Digest would start publishing back-issues.

The movie industry would eventually run out of comics and graphic novels to reproduce on big screen. This would set in motion the re-filming of Titanic and other shows from the 90's until... until they run out of shows from the 90's.

Dora the explorer would be a grown woman. She would never outgrow her purple monkey, though.
